What is the Ninja Kata?
The Ninja Kata is a collection of nearly one million forms of ninjutsu techniques passed down in the tradition of YaoYorozu ShinNinRyu Ninjutsu (The Ninja Art of the Eight Million Gods).
Each kata is performed solo, imagining an invisible opponent, and is based on techniques originally granted by the gods and later shaped by Million Ninja.
Every kata carries a sacred origin and holds the essence of a decisive, fatal strike.
Features: Slow Motion and Fast-Forward Performance
In addition to the standard kata, each performance includes both a slow-motion and a fast-forward version.
●Slow Motion: Reveals the details of every movement.
●Fast-Forward (up to three times): Highlights the speed, intensity, and impact.
Since a true ninjutsu technique ends in an instant, these variations allow audiences to both enjoy and understand the movements more deeply.
But to perform them with precision, being “strong” is not enough.
It requires performance skills that captivate the audience—sometimes even the ability to make them laugh.
These are abilities normally unnecessary in martial arts, but essential here.
By practicing Ninja Kata seriously, you may discover new, hidden talents within yourself.
Spreading the Art and Inspiring Future Ninjas
Our mission is to share Ninja Kata with the world.
Not only as a performance art, but also as a way to discover and nurture the next generation of ninjutsu practitioners.
Unlike other martial arts forms such as Karate or Kung Fu, Ninja Kata is designed as a sport in which anyone—regardless of age or gender—can compete.
One of my greatest dreams is to one day host a World Championship of Ninja Kata.
Final Words
Ninja Kata is more than just a form.
It is a fusion of mysticism, skill, and expression—a “dance of ninjutsu” that connects the past with the future.
For those who watch, and those who challenge themselves, it opens the path to new possibilities.
