What is the Ninja Kata?
The Ninja Kata is a collection of nearly one million ninjutsu techniques passed down through the tradition of YaoYorozu ShinNinRyu (The Ninja Art of the Eight Million Gods), performed solo against imaginary opponents.
Originally, these were epic techniques created for the gods themselves to battle one another.
In modern times, the gods grew bored with world peace. Passing the time, they summoned Million Ninja—who had been deeply knowledgeable in ninjutsu and martial arts since childhood—into the spiritual realm to teach him these ancient secrets, unleashing them onto the mortal world.
Every kata begins with a two-part ritual: the chant’s “HA!” releases a Palm Shockwave to blow away minor spirits, while the “NIN!” triggers God Realm Creation, bringing forth a custom dimension designed solely for absolute victory.
Based on the genuine power granted by the gods, Million Ninja has refined and mastered these forms. Every kata carries a sacred origin and holds the essence of a decisive, fatal strike.
Features: Slow Motion and Fast-Forward Performance
In addition to the standard kata, each performance includes both a slow-motion and a fast-forward version.
●Slow Motion: Reveals the details of every movement.
●Fast-Forward (up to three times): Highlights the speed, intensity, and impact.
Since a true ninjutsu technique ends in an instant, these variations allow audiences to both enjoy and understand the movements more deeply.
But to perform them with precision, being “strong” is not enough.
It requires performance skills that captivate the audience—sometimes even the ability to make them laugh.
These are abilities normally unnecessary in martial arts, but essential here.

Not only as a performance art, but also as a way to discover and nurture the next generation of ninjutsu practitioners.
Unlike other martial arts forms such as Karate or Kung Fu, Ninja Kata is designed as a sport in which anyone—regardless of age or gender—can compete.
One of my greatest dreams is to one day host a World Championship of Ninja Kata.
